New to leaf springs stuff, I have a 2013 Tacoma DCLB with a mid rise topper. I feel okay with the stock springs but they are flat as hell and decided to upgrade for peace of mind. I can get a new set of medium duty springs from ironman for $620 with the sale or there's a local with a set of used ome dakars #EL095R springs for $250.

What should i do? I do not want a high jocko lift. So if i get the dakars, thinking about removing a leaf in the pack.

Are there other things I have to do with the driveshaft or anything if I get a lift?

Dakars have a long time well known squeaking situation…….

Go with the quieter Ironman springs!

If you get the heavy duty Ironman springs you’ll probably need to take a leaf or two out. Some people have gotten around 5” of lift with the heavy duty pack. The medium is just right though.

They could have fixed the heavy duty packs since I’ve not seen anyone post issues with them in the IM thread in a long time.
