    Hi,

Planning for my tacoma 2017 DCSB a suspension upgrade.

Ironman foam cell pro and add a leaf. No plan for uca now maybe later on
    Tire P265/70 R17 17

What is the drawback of going with 3 inch lift.

As per the forums it ia better less than 3inch lift however need to understand the impact.

And shall i go with 1.5 or 2 since the shocks are adjustable and keep the rake.

When you lift 3” it changes the angle of the cv joints and can cause the boots to wear and fail quicker.

2-2.5 lift is pretty good. For these trucks and there will be more up/down travel too.

I was running about 2.5” for a while then swapped spings and am sitting at about 3” now. I’ll eventually lower the spring seat again.

Best to outline your use of the truck to best suggest. But rule of thumb has been becoming no more than 2" keep rake do not level budget for a front clamshell bushing if it doesnt cause vibrations early odds are high it eventually will.
Next thing is why lift? Generally a change in wheel offset and a bigger tire will achieve a great look with substantially less drawbacks.
