    Original Tacoma: 6" lift, air bags in the rear, 17x9.5 XD Series rims w/ 35" Cooper STT Pro tires. Body Armor rear bumper with swing arm tire mount, TRD Exhaust, URD True Cold Air intake, TRD Front Brakes, RIGID INDUSTRIES grill and LED bar installed in it, LED Rear Lights, TracRack rack system, tool box. Sold the truck. Bought 2016 ram 2500 Laramie diesel. (7/2016) Picked up 97 Tacoma 4x4 Extended Cab 3.4L. Building motor now. (8/2017)
    So towing about 5000lbs up the Altamont Pass to Fremont and back over the Pass to Tracy, I averaged 9mpgs (driving about 60mph with the trailer). It is pretty much exactly what I was getting driving 65mph or so with 33" tires and 3.73 gears. Not much improvement in mpg towing, but definitely a lot more power and I don't have to lock out in 4gear. I can use 5th up a hill.

    I filled up and drove empty to Fremont and back. Will be driving to Modesto tomorrow morning and back home, so I'll fill up and have an estimate on mpg's w/out trailer. I did drive over the Pass empty, which I'm sure lowered my mpgs, but I hope the average will be a lot better, possibly closer to stock.

    Are you still making these rock sliders? how much for a pair of DCSB bolt on black ones without the kickouts. And also how much to ship to 68506? my mom lives in san bernardino, so she could possibly pick them up for me, but i would rather have them shipped straight to me.     Just started making these CB antenna mounts that bolt straight on to a grounded spot in the bed and allow you to open and close your tailgate with no issues. $35 for anyone who wants one and that includes the shipping
