    @Shmellmopwho fab FTW!

A couple months ago I hit up Shmell for a Weld-yourself kit for his rock sliders. After a few weeks he hit me up and told me it was ready for pickup!

    20160807_140407.jpg

    I love a good puzzle.

Everything was laid out. Shmell even marked every area where the tubes were supposed to go. Super easy. All I had to do was line everything up and weld em together.

    20160827_173544.jpg 20160827_170525.jpg

Once I got them lined up and tacked, it was time to weld.

    20160827_171302.jpg 20160827_171310.jpg

    Some weld porn.

    20160903_173736.jpg

Here it is all together. I test fitted it before I finished welding in case I needed to make any adjustments. Which I did. Gotta make sure to line it up properly :anonymous:

    20160903_173749.jpg

Once they were all good, welded em up.

    20160903_212311.jpg

I added on top plates, and flattened and extended the mounting bars so that I could use the sliders as steps as well.

And finally here they are all finished up and welded onto the frame.

Big thanks to @Shmellmopwho for selling me the weld kit!

@Shmellmopwho ever thought of doing your CB antenna mount for the right side of the bed rather than the left?

    Too few to list.
Most of the other vendor's sliders have 4 to even 5 legs to fhe frame. Is 3 strong enough?

I've had Ryan's sliders on for awhile now, they've made contact with many a rock and have held up great! :headbang:

I agree with @eon_blue mine have met many a rough landing with much confidence. Mine are welded on.

The DCSB and AC sliders I make have 3 legs and the DCLB ones have 4 legs. Anybody who ive made sliders for that has an AC or DCSB has been happy or at least haven't made any complaints. The legs are gusseted well which certainly helps with any deflection

You guys rock, thank you. I appreciate the kind words

As long as it's stable, three works for me. I'm thinking about getting this done in the near future. Thanks.
