And this is why I rarely venture over to the 2nd Gen section. I cannot shake my head enough and a solid face palm is painfully inadequate.

Hate to inform you but you didn't buy a "$30K rolling office", you bought a truck. If it was an accident you should take it back and head over to Office Max.

So far we are battin' about 1,000 of "Don't you criticize my Tacoma!"
Kids, daddy's gotta go. Thank you for the technical suggestions, I do really appreciate that. Sadly, they were already tried, without success, resulting in my close-up broadside posted here. I'm putting down my torch n' pitchfork for now, and I'll be back with 'em if I gotta...and thanks also for the nuks with the creative artwork. No offense taken. If you have time for it, go for it. It is funny.

Maybe I'll break my 20-some-year tradition of buying only new Toyotas, and get a Ford F-150 Talon/Raptor/Killer/Monster/DeathRay, instead...

I didn't read all of the comments but did you go on a test drive? If you didn't go above 35mph on your test drive kinda your fault. If you are unhappy with the vehicle trade it in a get minivan. I hear its a very family friendly vehicle and some even come with all wheel drive

    OP,

Did you not realize this issue during the test drive?

By no means is the Tacoma perfect, but you could really help yourself by not walking into a Tacoma Forum and being so confrontational; especially to those who offered you help. You have to admit your actions reek of troll, or you are just a plain nature A-hole.

My '13 taco doesn't whistle by the way. In fact its much quieter than my wife's chevy equinox.

I feel so cheated, 15,000 miles on my 2012 and I don't have even the slightest complaint. My Tacoma has so far been one of the best vehicles I've ever owned, and I can assure you OP I'm older than you. As you've been told, there's an easy fix for your whistle, and keep in mind, wind noise is no basis for a class action suit. They're always safety issues.
