Not sure what most of you are getting per tank but on the highway with a few steep grades I'm happy if I can squeeze 300 miles from one tank of an 02 4x4 double cab v6 with auto trans. Tires are 265/75/16. What are ok getting per tank?

I a always fill up with a 1/4 of a tank left, and I average 175-180 miles for those tanks.

When I first got my truck I had 265/70 R16 all weather tires and I could get about 310 miles out of tank or 21 mpgs.

    Now I have 235 85 R16 AT's and get about 285 miles or about 17mpgs.

How many miles per gallon do you get? On my second gen I average 19 mpg around town but I couldn't tell you how many miles I get per tank. Besides the measurement of miles per tank is pretty meaning less, just how empty is the tank when you refill it?

I always fill up around the 300 mile mark but from reading this board I have come to understand that it is at the high end of what these trucks can get.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Yeah. I get somewhere just over 220. About 13 mpg. It's abysmal! But I have customized - esp. The SC. Off road it't an animal.

Whete is that Hilux diesel option. Geeez!

I'm at 155 miles at half a tank right now. Not bad for being lifted, supercharged, and 33" tires. This is my first tank on 4.30 gears and I used to go about 110 miles on half a tank.

My '04 Xcab 4x4 V6 Auto with 265/70/16 gets 16.5 MPG. I drive pretty conservative but think my gas mileage could be better.

Brand new with OEM 225-15's I was getting 345 per tank.

Now old and loaded down a bit with 30x9.50's I get 240-250. If I was to pull the canopy and unload the truck it would do better obviously.

Depends alot on how you drive and what trans you have. I have always had better mileage with a manual,,some would disagree with that.

    300-350 mixed driving in town/country highways/back roads
300 or less if its in town and using 4x4 a lot.
245/16's stock size with Hankook Danapro ATM's and a mid rise cap with bars on it.
but its a 4 banger five speed...
stocked to be getting 20 ish and can hit 23.5 on highway roughly

been getting about 14-15mpg this winter, but that's with hauling a lot of weight frequently and a decent amount of snow, highway I can get round 20-21.. 16.8 has been my avg over the past few years.. DC, cap, lifted, etc not a lead foot but like to make the skinny pedal earn its keep :D
