    Looking for a ecu flash file to run with my Tactrix Openport 2.0 (bought for my Subi but trying to help hubby with his Taco). I'm confused, I thought 1996 on was OBDII?

    BlackDog likes this?!?! She knows better. It will increase temporarily. Very. Then it will return to where it was but now it’s as if your throttle bore is worn out because the plate can’t close and the TPS will read differently. The only acceptable time to mess with that stop is if you have slight bore wear and the plate sticks shut. But have fun regardless which way you go. I gotta mow the lawn. PS. IAC is responsible for idle…..

    I understand 100%, the belt is off my AC, in traffic I turn it or the defrost on low…. Annoying. Only way around it is to increase voltage to IAC… sucks

    Yeah, the compressor obviously won’t turn but the fan works and your idle will rise cuz the ECM is sending IAC more voltage to increase the idle because it knows that you are adding the load of the compressor…. I imagine if you had nothing better to do you could run a separate circuit with a potentiometer to the IAC, you’ll have to dig up the schematic. Anything is possible w/ determination and money…. Over and out.

    is that what you did? I emailed lcengeneering to see what they can do for me, ill see if they get back to me on Monday. Maybe adding a sc will increase rpm on idle? idk, but searching on here it seems a lot of people have this problem

    Only you would fix a worn butterfly stop by removing the AC belt and running defrost to up RPM
    :rofl::rofl::rofl:
    If the setscrew and seat is worn how would the TPS know full closed is too far?

    The haltech custom designed ecu solves the tunability problem right?

    Mine isn’t worn you meathead. The belt is off because the compressor is junk. Put the bottle down and re-read the thread. The stop screw can be turned a 1/16-1/8 turn if the butterfly is jamming in the bore due to slight wear. The TPS is attached to the throne shaft. If you screw with it too much the normally 11% with throttle closed changes upwards of 14%….. then what Ms Smartypants?

    To Hell with it. Remove the locknut so you can get an additional turn or two.
