Is 4-Runner Frame same as Lexus GX

Good evening, my name is Tim, and I'm new here to the forum. My current vehicles are an '03 Sequoia, an '04 4-Runner and a new to me '07 Lexus Gx470. I'm curious if the 1st Generation Lexus GX ('03 to '09) is the same exact frame as the 4th Generation V8 Toyota 4-Runner ('03-'09)? The reason I ask is that I see these Safe T Cap frame pieces designed for the 4-Runner and am thinking they should work for the Lexus too. I literally can't see any difference in my '04 4-Runner frame and my '07 GX. Same engine too although the '07 is the VVTI version of the 2UZ V8. Any advice or information here on the forum is greatly appreciated.

I know the kdss equipped 5th gen’s technically have a different frame than non-kdss, but I think it’s additional threaded bolt holes. Might be the only difference with the gx

 

Thanks for the reply. Reason I asked about the frame is because I'm considering buying Safe T Caps, frame sections to weld into my frame. That's why I wanted to know if anyone knew if the 4th Gen Four Runner frame is the same as the Lexus GX.

 

They are both a 120 chassis. The frames are essentialy identical

 

Ok. I'm asking because I want to use Safe T Caps frame replacement sections (by AutoRust) to weld into an area or two on my truck. So, if the frame is the same as the Runner, they make all the replacement sections for it.

 

@JdevTac Would the Lexus GX470 V8 03-09 frame also fit 4th Gen 2006 4Runner v6 Limited? I'm contemplating a frame swap to save my truck. It's really the only thing that is an issue.
