In 5+ years, I've not heard of one person doing trutrac install on Tacoma world.

Lots of folks doing ARB air lockers though!

What cant the TrueTrac do that an LSD can't do? I think I would rather add a locker to have the best of both worlds but I know that is a lot more money. I can't believe no one asked why Eaton called OP stupid???

For me, the locker (ARB) is just too expensive. The advantage I see of the Ture-Trac over the factory LSD is it isn't using up clutches of brake pads. And my perception is that the True-Trac is distributing power better and maybe more quickly than the TRAC system in 4H from the factory. I could be incorrect there, though. It would be a nice option to be able to do it on the late model Tacomas.

    BTW, thanks Crom.

And i, too, wonder what the deal was with Eaton calling the potential customer stupid. Seems like bad business.

It would appear here that someone did indeed install a True-TRAC on a late model Tacoma, with good results (albeit including disabling TRAC and VSC).
