It's less Tacoma and more mod
By the time I saw the corner I was doing about 65, i started drifting the corner pretty well until it caught, my tire debeaded and dug and I went over bouncing on the roof edges and sliders at about 35-40mph haha. Won't ever out drive my vision again, but I still like to go fast and have built my truck accordingly this time with better suspension and lower COG. I wish I could find my other carnage pics right now, but here's the new and improved rig...

All of the drivetrain from the green truck was swapped to this grey truck and from there all of the suspension I reworked and made safer for my style and driving preference so this wouldnt happen again, last part of the puzzle is an internal cage and 5pt harness though.

It's not just about safety "features", it's about crush proof design from the ground up.

If you want your family and friends to have the best chance at walking away from a severe collision, such as another vehicle or a tree, then 2nd gen is considerably safer, and 3rd gen better, see small offset test by IIHS.

Another great option is the 1st gen Tundra 2000-2006, that's tested way safer than same vintage Ford Chevy Dodge, their extended cabs fold up.

Toyota has lead the way in truck crash worthiness

The NHSA has a special place for you in their "Imagining Department."

I concur. The outcome of this thread should be decided by all involved parties separating into two factions, one will punch bricks, the other shall punch balloons. Dibs on being in the balloons group. If odd number of members, odd man out looks up the word: "vector" in the dictionary.
