Hey, I was thinking about getting a bed mat for my tacoma. The only thing im worried about is having it stolen since it just sits on the bed. Has this happened to anyone? Is there a way to secure it. Or am i just being paranoid?

If it aint bolted, locked, or chained anything in the bed is vulnerable. Just my opinion.

    Definitely paranoid. :p

They're very nice in that stuff won't slide around in the bed.

If you're that worried about it being stolen, why not drill a couple holes and run your front bed bolts throught it? You could still lift it up to clean under it but it ain't going anywhere unless they cut it out.

    back to bone stock.
mixed review on spray on liners used on our composite beds.

on a whim, i tossed a $15 carpet mat from costco in the bed of my truck. stuff quit sliding, and i never took the mat out. it is one of those black mats that you see on restaurant floors. i put it there one day when i had to move a dog.

fit is retarded (it's too small) but it works. i've slept on it.

The bed mat is excellent to keep stuff from sliding around...and once it is in use for a bit, NO ONE will want to steal it.

Yea it's worth it IMO. Really prevents stuff from sliding around. I wouldn't worry about it being stolen.

Haven't had one stolen, and yes its worth it as it keeps things from sliding around in the bed of the truck. I got a Tacoma OEM mat on craigslist for $45, so even if it was stolen, its not a huge ticket item.

Love mine as well. Dogs get great traction and nothing else slides around. Well worth it! Had mine for 2 years almost and never been stolen yet. I wouldn't worry about it.
