Hello TW I just purchased a 2012 supercharged 4.0l but it didnt come with cat back exhaust nor a intake. Will a recallibration of my ECU be necessary for these upgrades or will their tune work?

No new flash needed. There isn't one anyway.

Will a TRD cold air intake 2005-11 fit on my 12?

It would if you relocate the smog pump but the intake is no good. It causes a lean condition. I would go with AFE Stage 2 SI(same as old style TRD) or the Airaid intake made for the 2012.

He has a blower so it would probably flow a bit more than on a NA engine.

Yeah Im aware of that since the tune remains the same, but it is mostly to clean up the appearance and maybe gain some noise. thanks for the info tho!

Yeah. I like the look of the intake itself and the fact that it is a cool/cold air intake since it draws air from the stock location. It comes with a bracket to move the smog pump forward.

Another option is the URD TCAI but I'm not sure how well that would work with the blower flash.

I haven't heard of any issues with it. Check out XRU for more info. That site leans to performance. Also Gadget is on there more often than here so he might have experience with that intake.

I have the TRD S/C with an AFE stage 2 and dry filter. You will be fine. Don't go with the new TRD style CAI, it will cause you to throw a check engine light.

Not enough air, its to restrictive. Its essentially just a repackaged version of the original intake. Go with AFE or air raid or find a older style TRD intake.

It has to do with the location of the sensor. It throws the reading off causing the lean condition. If not enough air was getting through it wouldn't go lean since the MAF is reading airflow.
