Well I won't argue against that, but it doesn't have a bed is what I'm saying.

Hence why I said ute :luvya:

If it could go in my garage, and I had the convenience of downing the vehicle for some time, I'd love to cut out the rear hatch area.

Would take some time welding up a sheet metal rear to seal it up.

The hardest part after that would be finishing up the interior like the headliner and all.

    You lost me at Molle.

The mere mentioning of it had me cringing with thoughts of a broverlander 3rd Gen Taco with Glock and Punisher stickers on his rear window, and offers you Black Rifle Coffee cause he swears it helps him to draw faster in the event of a SHTF moment.

Don't get me started on the $200 shovel he'll never use that's part of his kit.

I just read your post dogging the LC's interior; you can always upgrade it!

Wow, that is a clean and cushy interior. Looks spendy though.

For some reason there always seems to be a bunch of stains in between the front seats and console when you're looking at used J80s. Like people spill coffee or food down there and can't be bothered to clean it up since you have to take the seat and carpets out to really get to it. There's a lot of places for grossness to accumulate in these interiors, even under the transfer case seal and weird little places like that. At least I don't smell any mold in mine.

Sounds like you have the best of both worlds! I’d love to add a LC to the stable for my wife; taco as the trail rig and LC as the overlanding base camp/rescue vehicle.

    @Ozark_RegCab

You can put 37’s on a cruiser for the cost of good upper control arms on an ifs.

4wd 24-7 runs every different truck you can think of on week long trips. You can see exactly what does well where.

I’ve seen most of their episodes. A lot of the little IFS utes punch well above their weight on the trails they run.

I did end up cutting my losses with the Taco because of frame issues, but yea, it would be nice to have both in the stable.

    Thanks!

I wouldn't call it spendy, at least not for the benefits it offers.

What you're looking at is; Delta VS center console, Delta VS shifter console, Sparco seat with Sparco slider and base, LSeat leather seating (replaced the rear leather), and Weathertech mats front and rear.

I too have stained carpeting all throughout but fortunately no mold or mildew. I do plan on replacing the carpet, but that's a huge undertaking by itself so for now I'll just live with it.

All in all for the interior it was only about $2.7k total.
