Is air supposed to be coming out of here when the defogger isn't on?

As many people on TW may know, I just had a leaky evaporator core (along with the expansion valve) replaced. As result, the dashboard had to come completely out.

Fog always forms on the windshield on particularly humid days when I've got the A/C on, but it seems like the air coming out of the top dash vents is particularly strong...

Is air always supposed to come out of this vent or is it possible something got screwed up?

does it on mine all the time, turn up the heat a little bit and most will go away

I just use the wipers since I want the AC on the highest with my hot flashes going crazy

Normal. Basically the window is colder than the dew point of the air which is why you have condensation. Nothing you can do unless you can change the laws of thermodynamics.

Air always blows out a little from Defrost. It's a nice feature unless you set it too cold.

I will seriously searching for this issue last night! It's absolutely ridiculously annoying.

With health and medication shit I have to keep myself in sub 70° F temps all the time. Truck is always on max ac.. I was thinking about laying some kind of a card up there to reduce the cold air on the glass. But then I worry about forgetting it and it getting cooked in the Sun haha

It is so fucking humid here that my windshield is constantly fogging up. I'm going to put duct tape over the defogger vents!

This is what happens if I don't have the wipers on when the A/C is on...

    IMG_9372.jpg

Luckily, I finally installed intermittent wipers back in December 2016!
