Is anyone familiar with Beaver Toyota's free 20yr/200k warranty?

Ironically located in Cumming, GA..

 

I must say I do dig the way Linda say oil. She leaves out the I. You could also go to Keith Pierson Toyota and see Claudia Pierson. Apparently the car business must provide owners with new air bags. Incidentally Pierson offers a lifetime warranty. Although when I bought my truck neither dealer would come close to the price I got at Arlington. I could have bought the warranty myself and still had money left in my pocket so let's be realistic, there are no free warranties.

 

Nice. Not too far from Breckenridge. Used to enjoy the occasional trip out that way. Pretty drive out, once you get out of Denver.

 

Do you think anybody acts on these liftime dealer warranties, or are still eligible for the warranty when they experience an issue?

 

Very few and that is why they offer them as a marketing gimmick. Everyone says they will keep their car forever, but very few people do. Even those the do like my father struggle to keep them on the road. He had a Ram with a lifetime powertrain warranty and saw his truck with 230K totaled from a fairly minor accident. Not to mention that once they get up there in miles that there are a lot of other things that will break that are not covered. Motor and tranny failure are a small part of high mileage repairs.

 

Do they have poker in the rear?

this was my thought.

from my understanding dealers make most of their money off financing and service. If they require you to service it with them, they are not losing money at all....especially with Toyota’s reliability

 

Great idea. Will have to wait for next week though. Planning a bit of vaca. I hear tantric helps.
