I did a brief search but didn't find anything relevant. I've had my truck for almost a year now and up until last week, my phone and truck have consistently and reliably paired. About a week ago I noticed that it hadn't paired and wouldn't unless I deleted the phone from Entune and added it again. Once I do this, I'm good for roughly 3 to 4 ignition cycles and then they wont pair again. My iPhone 6s, which I've owned longer than the truck, has the latest version of IOS. I thought I saw something about a TSB for the stereo a few weeks ago but I cant find anything.

    Is anyone experiencing anything similar?

Happens to me constantly with Android as well. Says "Tether error". Super annoying. Pandora is the worse, almost never works. Hit or miss.

Had the same problem. Removed all the devices off the truck and unpaired and erased data from phone. Unlinked all the account on the Toyota App. Uninstalled all apps, iHeart, Pandora, and Toyota app. restarted the phone. restarted the truck head unit. Download everything and paired up and works first try every time.

Pandora and Bluetooth work crappy since update. If I get back in my truck it will attempt to play the song I left off at, but then come in skipping until I disconnect and reconnect.

I had a similar issue where my Samsung galaxy S7 would pair initially upon ignition but not display any information on the screen (album name, song name, etc.) as well as occasionally not allowing me to pause, skip or replay songs using the screen (when it worked) or the buttons on my steering wheel. I use spotify premium through my phone and it seems that is the issue considering my friends iTunes works fine. Its been a few months since I had the last problem with it though. Crossing my fingers that I don't have any more issues.

Had the same issue with mine when I first bought it but deleting and re adding the device fixed that issue.

I had the same experience as everyone else who posted before me. Pandora is hit or miss. Regarding messaging, I still get notified that I received a text message, but the option to read them is always greyed out, even while parked. If I go into the messaging app, it always asks me if I "want to setup messaging". Messaging worked fine when I first set it up. Since then, it only notifies me,...never an option to read.

I'm still in the "wow, that's cool" phase of ownership. I'm sure I will quickly reach the "ugh, must turn that off" phase sooner than later LOL.

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
Mine would not pair either ... said it was not in range or some BS like that.

Took several times (deleting & adding device) and now it works with some things ... can't remember what part is still not working.

After a while ... I just quit screwing with it ... iPhone 6+S works great ... just not with Entune.

FWIW ... Entune w/ Nav (last Tacoma) and Basic Entune (this truck) has not impressed me and Toyota could do a lot better job with it's audio components (receivers, speakers, etc.) especially for the price they charge.

My pairing shows 2 different iPhones in the system for some reason ( I only have 1 )
