All season mats, 2nd filter delete, DT header, Jardine cat-back, URD shifter, Bilstein 5100's all around at .85 front with Eibachs + .25 passenger/.5 drivers spacers and 1.5 AAL, 0w20 synthetic, Scanguage II, extra D rings, OEM backup camera+Mirror, bed mat, Extang Solid Fold, Popnlock 5300, Pro Comp 7089's 4.5bs 285/70/17 Revo 2s, De-badged
Looking to see if anyone is running 265/70/17 or 265/75/16's on 9 inch rims. I'm looking at a set of 17 inch x 9 for my 265/70/17s BFG ats but they say no bigger then 8.5.

I have them on my truck- 265-70-17 Toyo ATs with 17x9 XD rims. Got close to 50000 miles on this set and have had no problems.

265/70R17 -113S - 300210- (Rim 7.0-8.0-9.0 ) 31.7 -10.7 Thats from Toyos web site. Shows up to 9 but 8 is the best for it. Mine fits the rim perfect.

Haha. I'm buying a snorkel once the Garage/driveway is ready. Currently I'm waiting for the curb cut. I want it in that garage for it because of me being a noob

I have a toytec kit running billstien 5100's with toytec/eibach coilovers in the front. 5100's in the rear with the deaver AAL. I think I have the kit number on my profile specs. Oh and I have the diff drop kit and carrier bearing drop along with the 3 degree shims in the rear.

The kit should be like $899 awesome price with the new coils

I'm not using the carrier bearing drop. I had it on but my take off shudder was slightly worse with it on

I had 17x9 with 285's. The only bad thing I noticed is that the sidewall of the tire doesn't hang over the lip of the rim that much with a wider rim size. The down side to that was lots of rim damage from rocks. You can see the silver ring around my rim in this picture. They are different (35") tires though. On-road no problems. Just when rock crawling. The rim's edge will be more flush with the sidewall of the tire.

285/75s are about an 11.5 wide tire. If manufacturers say that 8" in the minimum for 12.5" tires I'd say your safe haha I'm running 33x12.5r15s on 8" wide rims no issues.
