    Bumped your post...

and I think you are going to find a very limited number, if any, have them....I think there were some issues with compatibility causing jumps in the speedo.

And yeah...Welcome to the TWorld. Enjoy learning

It's all in my head at the moment...
I see you're new here so let's start by saying Welcome. So just relax Francis and let the posts go they way they go even if it's not to your liking.

The point of another member (gigity) responding, even if it's what you may "think" is no help...is to let you know that someone is reading your post. It keeps you from going, "No one?" and then another post..." Come on guys, No one?".....

You'll be amazed how a simple question like yours will get the answer you were looking for and you'll also get answers to questions you haven't even thought of asking. These posts run a number of directions when you get the creative and informative minds gelling together.

So if no one has this device, your post would go unanswered and you'd stomp off thinking we are all stuck up "douchenozzles". (that one is for you fans of the word). Think of the first response, again it may not be what you want, but think of it as someone opening the door for you and inviting you in.

Again, relax....grab your helmet and a cold beverage and watch and learn how it's done.

    Once again, Welcome.

I haven't heard of any malfunctioning with these units, but I figured
for $60 shipped it was cheap enough to give it a shot.. :D
I've used em before on a different vehicle and was just curious where people with Taco's have mounted the module that have these..

Yeah, I'm not sweating any douche nozzle action or anything..
just thought it was a useless responce is all lol

I'm definatly not new to how forums work.. :D

It was a mountain side.. and nope, not much in the way of mountains out here lol

    Hey Chris.

I'd be willing to bet that someone has installed that speedo calibrator. So the answer to half of your question is "Yes."

The second half could be answered with "In an easily accessible/readable location."

P.S. - Did you finally get banned from CT? Is that why you're here? I'll work on trying to get you banned from here too.

P.P.S. - I hope you get a real answer to your question one day.

Nope, no ban, just feeling out other forums to see if they have the right vibe..
You want to ban me? why is that? did you get banned over at CT? haven't seen white devil in a while lol

I'll probably tackle this sometime this week and see where I should mount it..
I'll be uninstalling all of my XM radio equipment and I should have a bit of room behind the lower under dash counsel area..

Nah, no ban for me. Like you, just went looking for a better vibe and ended up here.

I just want to ban you so that I could write another sentence. So no real reason. I think it'd be fun to try and get someone with 20 some-odd posts banned.

Why do you need a speedo calibrator anywho? Do you still have that silver dropped 1st gen?

Yup, I still have the silver slut.. :D
The stock speedo is off by 7mph @ 60mph according to my GPS and a friends setup and I have the correct tire size on it..

So how do you like this forum? are there less nazi's here? :)

    Ah, I see.

I like it here a lot. There are a lot less stiffly stifflersons around, yes. There are but a few threads that don't get derailed within the first few posts. Take this thread, for example. It seems like the people around here joke more than anything. But there's a lot of good info too. When I joined it was primarily 05+ Tacomas, but within the past 6 weeks I've seen more 1st gens show up and stay.

I think you'd fit in well. You know Delmarva, right? And I think CraigTRD is here too.

I dont know Delmarva, but I know Craig.. met him in person..
The mods on CT seem to be delete happy and they go in and snip parts of a thread here and there till it makes you think, why not just delete the whole fubbin thread and call it done.. It's been getting pretty bad and its lost the fun layed back vibe.. :(

oh well, its just the internet.. :D

I see you got that billet devil emblem, looks right at home on the white devil [IMG]

I am interested in the question you post. I am a Taco-lover and want to learn much about what MODS people do to their Tacos.
