This is why I've had this same conversation at least a dozen times over the years. This is one that'll never be completely agreed on. And Ohio is NOT in the Midwest.

K, the rockies are what divide the PNW from the mid west, how hard of a concept is that? Its a clear geographical land mark that I THINK does a pretty good job of setting the eastern boundary for the pacific northwest

if you notice, the path of the rockies is alsi the "dividing line" for the PNW on all of the maps on google

I say its rain , a coast to see a SUNSET on when its not raining, and knowing the difference between wet snow that packs into a snowball and continental snow that cant be, If you carry sunglasses in your rain jacket.... you are likely PNW.
