    I'm with OZ on this one, no. The argument for similar climates has been made; false, only a small portion has a similar climate. Also if climate were the deciding factor, according to the map, where do Wyoming and Montana fight in there? Then the whole debate of geographic boundaries, someone mentioned the Rockies, so does Colorado become part of this too?

    Idaho is in the NW, but not the Pacific NW.

    Climate: Actually a large portion of the state has similar climate...try the entire middle part of the state up to canada

    No, colorado in in and on the east side of the rockies, idaho has a majority of the state in/on the west side.

    Part of Colorado is on the East, otherwise they run through the state just like Idaho.

    Either way, I agree that should not be the dividing factor, is the point, I see no coast line of the Pacific in Idaho.

    Nope, they're tied up again. And I figure at least half of the 'No' votes are from folks in east coast states like Texas so they don't count.

    If it's in the northern half of the country (contiguous states) and west of the continental divide then it's PNW. And BC doesn't count cause it full of feriners.
