I personally like it, and was deciding between a Sport in CB and an OR in CG before I went with the latter.

I agree it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. I don’t think it will do as badly in resale as a red or orange or voodoo blue car, because a lot of buyers just don’t want a bright color that stands out. I think black, white, silver and MG do best in resale.

I am the person who supposedly "ripped" you and if you were offended, I apologize --and thank you for your service. I was joking around with you on the man card thing, because having spent a little time in the U.S. Army (ABN), I was seriously shocked that you mentioned you spent time in the Cav (1st I'm guessing) and didn't recognize the color from the days in which "cav units" rode horses?

LOVE Voodoo Blue...……………………….on a sports car, not a truck.

It would have been a tough call between Cavalry Blue - had it been available - and Cement when I got my truck last summer. In fact, their was a Cavalry Blue 4Runner Pro on the lot that caught my wife's eye.

As long as its not that "cheap chinese toy" color blue that they had before these its all good. I was repulsed by that blue, I understand some liked it, but it reminded me too much of those cheap flea market toy cars.

Calvary Blue/White/Silver/Cement paint will hold up to years of use,Voo Doo will be trashed, paint wise, any of those darker bright colors are terrible after years of use.

I’ve had more compliments on the paint color of my cav blue, than any previous vehicle. That’s great, but I bought it to impress me, not them.
To each his own, as has been said. I don’t worry about being able to get a good resale price for it, cuz it’s a TACOMA!

    That is all..;)

I spoke with a Toyota rep once about it at an auto show and that's what he said. I told him people would still pay for it at a premium. I mean Audi has paint options that are like $2000 extra.

I like Cav Blue but I think I’m in the minority. I don’t think it’s a tiny minority though.

If you’re worried about resale value, I think any dislike out there will be statistically offset by the color’s relative rarity and the fact that people who like the color like it a lot. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I own an Blazing Blue Truck.

After seeing both Vodoo blue and Calvary Blue in persion. I think Voodoo blue is the worst and Calvary blue is the best.

Not a big fan of any of the blue colors on these trucks but would take any of them over Orange. Had a guy tell me one time (talking about my Quicksand Tacoma) that the dealer tried to sell him one and he "just couldnt live with that color"........his truck was Orange lol

This is a good point. Another thing to remember is that some guy In toyota design has to “predict” the colors and people’s prefer before launch.

The spruce green Micah is my favorite and I looked for months to find one but could not.

My wife wants my 2021 Tacoma to be black so we'd have matching colored vehicles. Her black 2017 Maxima looks killer but no way in hell I'm getting a black truck.

I love my '17 Taco, wanted the gray/cement/pewter, but the only model they had in that color when I bought it was a standard which my wife couldn't drive. So I got black. Love it when it's clean, but it shows any little bit of dirt so bad.

I'm someone with an orange taco and I can't even tell you why I picked it. I do love it now.. but I can never respond to people when they asked me what made order it. It's almost an obnoxious color choice.. but not quite lol. I went in asking for the red one but it was too much of a burgundy hue on this gen.
