I hate searching through previous threads. It's much easier to start a new thread and get fresh info.

Bro. It's fact. Deal with it. I just bought a chip off of eBay that gives me 50 HP and 95 Torque. It actually turned my truck into a diesel.

I don't agree here. These same topics is what keeps this forum interesting even if that means an OP restarting old topics. Although I, myself still search but when I can't find a specific answer, then ill start a new/similar topic.

an intake will not change your exhaust tone.....wow...this thread is literally fn useless

you paid 200+ bucks for an open filter that sucks hot air from your engine bay and adds nothing for hp....just sound.

I put an aFe FIPK on my 1st Gen and my gas mileage went from 17 mpg to 17 mpg. I swear. I even have 2 years worth of data to back that up.

BTW, Toyota's stock box is a cold air intake and I regret having sold off my stock intake.

This.... Goes straight into the fender so it pulls outside cold air in... just no extra sound... But i also heard that if you add flames to your truck you get 50+hp

Yes it did.. I recorded a video of the stock then another after I got my exhaust done and another with the intake.. it's way different. Also that's why out of all the intakes I got the one with the scoop attatchment that replaces the rad shroud. Who cares what people spend their money on but you're dead wrong about the sound

Edit: the volant is a closed box unit, sucks from the fender and scoop attatchment only
