    Shit yes it’s a truck..

For the grunts, reminds of the cadence..

    El Camino! El El Camino!

The front looks like a car and the back looks like a truck.

In Murica it's a truck. In the land down under it's a Ute. Though it looks more like a car in the front it has all the features and functions of a truck.

I had a Black 75 Ranchero Squire that looked something like the one in this picture. It had factory mags.

It was 1 year old when I got it. Low miles and still in warranty as I recall. It had a 460 engine. I could burn rubber until the tires caught fire. That was all it was good for. In snow and ice, it was a nightmare. Gas prices went up and I quickly got rid of it. It never really ran right once the engine reached full temp. Like it was running too rich.

The local Ford dealer didn't seem to know much about a 460 and was no help.

I finally took it to the Lincoln/Mercury dealer that put in a carb kit under warranty. I must admit they tried to help when they could have told a 19-year-old kid to go take a hike.

I was reading a CJ Box Joe Pickett book. One of the characters told Joe that he had a Chevy Avalanche near by. Joe said, "That's kinda like a pick-up, right?"

While it is body on frame, the bed is not independent of the cab, thus making it the coolest ass SUV God ever blessed man with.

The Aussies christened such animals “UTEs” and hold them in the highest regard, and driven by the greatest of cunts.

The one my mom had actually had that decal, though just as oddly someone had painted (professionally) over it
