Still don't understand why the owner of that truck thinks it's the hulk if it's red...

There are some for real experts on here so listen to them and take your time.

Just remember, no two trucks are alike and even the same models and model years may have varied results with same components. Nothing is ever 100% guaranteed.

@dylanxcarter getting a small lift can be very worth it and not throw the geometry off too much. Between 1-3 inches is about the sweet spot for anybody who actually wants to get the most out of their truck off-road.

This allows you to clear 33-35" tires (Depending on how much you want to cut), which increases ground clearance.

The 6"+ lifts are just for show. They aren't practical for off-roading in most instances. Pavement Princess is the general term. That is why most trucks that lifted are just show trucks. Some people actually use them though.

Anything from +25 to -25 with 0 being the sweet spot. Granted that's factoring a 8" wide or less wheel, stock I belive is a 7" wide.

Shouldn't be an issue as long as the offset is close to 0. A 265 might look a little funny on a 8.5w wheel but it shouldn't rub.

With a stock suspension the tire you listed is a good choice I would just go for a 7.5 or 8 wide wheel, a 265 on an 8" wheel or wider is just going to look a little stretched as the tread width is approaching the rim width. Generally you want a little puffiness to the tire on a truck so 1.5" to 2" of overlap. IE a 285 or 12.5 tire on a 8/8.5 wheel. But then that's too wide for stock and would rub or require fender trimming possibly a CMC.

Thanks man! Definitely praying myself too. Looking like I'll be on the ride it out crew at work, probably a safer place to be than a house if this thing is as bad as they say. (And it definitely looks like it is) and my rig will be in an parking garage so also fairly safe I think.
