Sucks I know. This one is definitely a doozy. We got 60 mph gusts with Isabel and that was more than I care to brave. We have 80' tall, 5' dia. oaks less than 15 yards from the house. I cannot even fathom full force cat 5 winds with a storm surge to boot.

Like I said, mad prayers going out to all of you down there.

We have an office in Tampa and the considered just evacuating to Baltimore till the dust settled. But they are gonna ride it out too......

What is the difference when choosing between 16 x 8 and 17 x 8.5 if I'm planning on running 255/75/17? Hope everyone in FL stayed safe.

    :notsure:
    Maybe an inch? :rimshot:
You probably shouldn't try to put 17" tires on 16" rims...

I'm thinking about the same set up, OME and new tires before rain season.
Can I use 285 tires on my stock rims without rubbing?
How much did you pay for labor on your OME kit?

Skids and sliders will get you most places, then lift and tires
