would it be ok for me to put a 35w DDM HID kit in my $100 aftermarket BHLM heads? i worry about the lense melting, i want brighter but not sure if its worth the risk or trashing my lights?

yea it's safe. i'm ordering the 35w 6k ddm kit right now. it's the 55w that seems to get hot and cause issues for some people.

Those 35w HIDs are actually lower wattage than you regular halogen 55w bulbs.
