That is wild. I had no idea turbo cars where that badly detuned. I know turbo diesel trucks wake up with a few mods. Interested to see when a tuner chip comes out for it. I'm just scanning for a new car to get me to work and around town because the camry I had since high school is at 250K miles but still running like a champ.

HAHA. I ask because it's looks slightly like a tiburon with performance mods and better trim lines. Think I just ate my own words again. It doesn't have the raw set up like an impreza or evo, but the sticker price is 10K less new. You do a few minor changes and you'll wont get questioned. Great example last gen of Mazda 3 is a chick car, but the mazdaspeed 3 of that gen is a guy car.

If you can find a used MS3, they are pretty nasty with $2000 in mods. Also, make sure it's a GT so that you get leather, HIDs, and tail lights. Some might have navi.

I kinda dig it. At least they are making a sporty 2-door. Unlike toyota and honda who have completely dropped the ball making only eco-friendly, family friendly, elderly friendly crap.

If I was getting a Daily driver to save on gas or just for the commute to and from work, I wouldnt really invest much $$$ into modding it.. I would save it all for the truck, but the car it self looks alright..

Tacoma was my first truck in a long time. My previous cars were a 2000 vette and a 2004 g35 coupe. This time it was between this car and a Tacoma 4x4 off road (which needs thousands in mods) or the v6 Genesis coupe decked out which required none. First choice was the Genesis but they had crappy financing and Toyota offered 3.9 financing. Toyota it was. The voice controlled nav/stereo was really slick and intuitive. The solid axle rear made it cost thousands less than a G37 but at the expense of a harsher ride. I firmly believe Hyundai will not be thought of like Kia or Scion in ten years but more like Honda and Toyota. It's a very nice car, as are most of the new Hyundais. I personally love the interior AND exterior. At least as much as my vette and g, perhaps more.

That new Honda CRZ is a pretty wicked looking car. too bad its a hybrid. Im sure the Honda tunning community with yank that hybrid garbage out and replace it with a RSX type S motor in the next year or so.

I agree. I owned a car at one time. That didn't even last a year. I grew to hate it very quickly. For me, a car is completely useless. They get better gas mileage, but that don't matter to me. Obviously a car is great for someone that stays on the beaten path, but I'm only on road about 50% of the time.

As said before, diff. strokes for diff. folks.

That car looks good....just not for me.

Times a million. How long has the US waited for a small, affordable, decently powered RWD coupe from Japan....and then the Koreans bring it over.

Ya I'm callin BS on that...I'm guessing the friends "skyline" is a g35...the g35 is badged as a skyline in japan and some people think it's JDM TYTE YO to put a skyline badge on theirs here in the US.

I'd consider the 2.0T...but never the v6...g35 just sounds and looks too good.
