Because a turbo 4cyl will get a lot better mileage than the v6 I bet and they are easier to mod and tune for power. I wouldn't mind one with a TT V6 though:D

Is that car more camry/accord sized? 2.0T sounds a bit under powered for that big of a car.

It's a bit smaller than the Camry and a bit bigger than a Civic sedan.

The new 2.0T for the Sonata makes 274HP!

They won't let you buy one until you can spell it right so yeah, no Hyundai for you.:D I like how people snub their nose at Hyundai as if they're any worse than anything else out there these days. Toyota is going to shit and still riding on past history in people's minds then you got Hyundai going the other way with people not buying them because of the way they used to be when they first came here. Too fuckin funny. Perception of what used to be doesn't equal what shit is now in most cases.

I don't agree. I think cubes, new beetles, mini coopers, kia rios, and 99-06 celicas are. nd that's all i can think of currently. Corollas and *most* civics are for people who want a fucking awesome car that is just bland and super boring, and TC's are for people who want a "cooler" camry.

The styling of the genesis is pretty girly, but the power and RWD compensate for that.

my stepbrother has the turbo 4cylinder model. its awesome. i dont like driving cars but occasionally i like to drive it. its fun to be able to weave in and out of traffic, once the turbo kicks in, the car is gone. nice car but i would never buy one. trucks or suvs all the way!!!

I think both the 4 door and coupe genesis are bad ass and would own either in a heart beat. Contrary to popular belief hyundai is a great brand and should not be looked at as some P.O.S car. Give hyundai a few more years and it will be up with and possibly even surpass toyota, honda, and nissan. Jusy my 2 cents. But i still do perfer a truck or SUV over a car and would take a new 4runner over any car.

I fall into Category #3. Never been fond of Hyundai's, fully aware of their potential, worked with them quite a bit actually, but still not my style.

Like AVIS rental car, Hyundai should be able to market themselves with a motto like "We are number two but we try harder." Once a company dominates, they become dormant. Anyone heard of Microsoft? ;)
