After a new rack installation and thorough MAF cleaning my appreciation for a quality product is definitely rekindled, However unfortunately, Sometimes old habits die hard and I'm always waiting for the next shoe to drop. I purchased 6 NGK OEM plugs over the weekend but can't help but too think as well as the truck is running, Could I possibly be taking a risk adding new plugs? What if the firing sequence can't be gapped properly or some other random fluke. Afterall as the saying goes: Why mess witha good thing? 130 k miles/ 1st owner /original plugs.

Thank you kind sir Wean (Nice truck
) And gentleman for the input for the link. I'm re- thinking my choice on the NGK. I've found alot more owners happier with the denso. This is the second write up I've seen with gap specs at .043 but never read as low as .039 to .043.

Yeah man, anytime. Thank you, you as well. I gapped mine at .040. When I pulled off the old spark plugs, they were gapped at .070! Really bad. So happy I changed them.

Change those plugs every 30K miles with COPPER OEM ones. Easy to do with a inch-pound or low foot-lbs torque wrench. Take your time, make sure you don't cross-thread the plugs, and it's hard to really screw up. Be an over-achiever and spray the coil and wire contacts with electronic cleaner before putting them on. Good preventive maintenance keeps it running smooth.
