I bought the truck cause our MDX left us stranded in Idaho and had to drive 700+ miles in 72 hours to get my family home and then on to take care of my dad for a week after he had back surgery. I couldn't live with the wheels so they were the first thing to go. Swapped on a set of Hartmann HT-38's and felt much better with the overall look of the truck. Drove another 400 miles to Bend and realized I needed a set of seat jackers.

Good call on the wheels, the ones you have now look a ton better.

Thanks, I went through a bunch of options and started looking at lead times and jumped on these when I found them. Not what I originally wanted but I am happy with them.

How difficult was the Redarc TowPro to install? Looking for a trailer brake controller and no clue where to start. Thanks!

It was super easy and works very well. I had a Tenkonsha P3 on my old truck and considered one but the reviews of the Redarc were good and I liked the mounting solution since the main unit could be hidden with just a small dial to adjust and activate the brakes.

After the wheel upgrade and dipping my toes into the roast my truck thread I decided to remove the badges front spoiler and get rid of some chrome. Picked up a 2020 OR grille and got ride of the chrome mirror caps and fog light bezels.

Then I decided it was time to pull the spacer lift off and on went some 5100's and a few days later a set of SPC UCA's. I played around with various preload heights and taco lean spacers. Little did I know a camper purchase was in the cards. I probably would have bought a bigger truck knowing a camper was going to be something we were interested in but the wife was persistent. Now I'm shopping for a Redarc, Icon 3 leaf aal and a wdh. FML there goes all the play money.

I need mo powa baby. All it took was this small Amazon box of tools and about 8 hours of being hunched over the engine bay.

Didn’t have the coolant adapter to pressurize the Toyota cooling system at work so it was a fill and burp.

WIth the supercharger on it was time to go test it out with the camper. Off we went to Packwood, Wa for the famous Packwood days. Packwood days is probably the biggest yard sale and swap meet in Washington. Happens twice a year on Memorial day and Labor day weekends, if you are into digging through other peoples garbage you just might find a thing or two worth bringing home. Truck did amazing climbing up and over the pass and the added power def makes the truck more enjoyable.

Went to the Oregon dunes and picked up a set of SOS sliders for a reasonable price. Like an idiot I got impatient and put them on in the campsite laying in the gravel. Also got to use my snatch strap :anonymous: once me being rescued and then I pulled out a sxs that lawn darted into a witches eye and an old dodge motor home that got stuck at the very edge of the dunes trying to get turned around.

Did a little work today. Cmc, bumps and a brake upgrade. Cleaned the drums and calipers and hit them with a couple coats of Steel-it.

thanks. This is what I wanted originally but didn’t want to commit to the cmc. While I was trying to make up my mind between black or bronze and 0 or -20 everything else sold so I bought the matte blacks. An old VW buddy asked me to post these for sale on here since he didn’t have the required post count and I just ended up buying them instead.
