Is it hard on ur clutch when u pay ur throttle?

Is it bad to pat throttle?

 

Would help if you could explain a little more ?
If you are asking if you have to slightly gas the pedal while slowly letting the clutch out to get the truck moving , it would be dependant on the incline and the gear ratio .

 

engaging the clutch puts wear on it-regular driving and regular loads should not-unless it is SLIPPING

The proper way to let the clutch out when learning to drive a manual transmission is "Without" using the gas pedal . Once you have mastered this , adding a little fuel to the mix shouldnt be an issue

 

Yes stock. I normally let the clutch out about half way then hit the gas. But I will admit sometimes I get a little to throttle happy. So it would be a lot better on hither clutch if I could take of with no gas. I have 3:53 gears so it really has to be flat when I can do it

 

the only time its hard on your clutch is when you are using it if your foot is on the clutch you are wearing out its parts they are designed to be used just not excessively and having your foot half way down is the worst. there's a thing called idling away which is when you use no gas petal at all which is the best.

 

Heh, with the 2.7 and oversized tires I'd end up wearing out my starter before I got out of my driveway
