    i came from a mkV gti, spec miata, s4, etc and you're not imagining it. Stock suspension in tacomas are garbage. If you can swing it, i would recommend an entire new leaf pack for whatever constant weight you plan on running, then 6112/5160's. P-rated tires will also maximize comfort, but there's a balancing act there if you offroad much.

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
    Stock you’re around 20 inches from Center of hub up to fender in the front, and 22 inches Center of hub to fender in the rear.
    You can measure and see where your trucks sitting
