"We" are always right and "they" are always wrong. Since "they" could have made the same decision "we" did..."they" are obviously traitors to the cause. Soon, however, the ONLY choice will be the one that "they" made and "we" will feel better about the situation. "We" will no longer see them as traitors, but rather unfortunate souls who have less self-determination.

3rd Genr's will have as many supporters as detractors (on TW). Hell, "problems" make up a large share of 2nd Gen TW posts, (not at all reflective of the overall quality and customer satisfaction ratings of the brand) . Toyota will sell all they can make.

I think most third gen owner would indeed be "traders" as most people don't pay cash for their vehicles and more than likely TRADED in their old vehicle for the third gen.

I had a 3rd genner wave to me as we passed the other day!!! I was so stunned I couldn't react and wave back. TBH it was probably karma because I intentionally ignore them on the road. Suppose I should be nicer to them. Naahhhhh.

I don't think any 1st or 2nd genr' would leave a 3rd genr' stranded. I feel like the whole 3rd gen thing is a "joke" more a less. That's just me though. And it seems like the front end is what everyone complains about. I mean, if they put the 3.5 in the same (2nd gen) body style, would people still be in an up roar?

Guy with temp tags in a new blazing blue one, floored it to try and pass me, then waved to me as I went by later, no waves were given back, I unfortunately have grouped all the 3rd gen owners in the same pool as the idiot ones I interact with in their section on here, I know thats wrong, but hard not to when newbs come in talking about how much more superior their truck is with no facts and little to back it, alot of them rubbed "us" the wrong way which is why the bad blood I think. Not to meniton the truck is a mutated version of ours to begin with, its like joining a new club you dont bad talk the previous guys who have been there longer. I would not dare talk crap about the 1st gens, those trucks are proven, solid and beautiful in so many ways, I think alot of the third gen guys need to get off their high horse a bit. Just my 2 cents what do I know.

Many of us were ignorant about our trucks when we bought them. "They" will be more knowledgeable as time passes. I hate the grill on gen 3, but I still give a subtle wave to most Tacoma drivers - of all gens.

    My thoughts are:

    " Traders " ?

No, I don't feel that way at all. Nor do I think they are Traitors.
