Really humid morning, went out to the truck to grab something and noticed only on the passenger side beads of water were on the same part of the truck my door sill protectors sit but just up higher towards the windshield, you can see some in one pic but there was also drops of water near the metal arm that swings the door as well and only on one side of the truck, is this common on really wet/humid mornings? my 2022 didnt do this and im a little concerned. the pic you cannot see the water in there was water drops almost in that whole painted black area. up and down where the door arm attaches to the rest of the truck.

No its not friday already, and yes its a real post.

But in seriousness I wouldn’t be concerned about some moisture. When i had my windshield replaced there was some moisture inside couldn’t figure out where it came from if it was sealed properly or not but it was only for 3 days never seen moisture again and that was back in January

Speaking of paranoid , check all fours doors if they have drain holes , sometimes in the manufacturing process they accidentally plug them up completely and water gets inside and never drains so they rust

I get moisture sometimes In high humidity conditions. I did look around and it was just near the seals where the temperature variation is the greatest. I wipe it down and forget it. Be sure to clear your water drains by the windshield.

Is the weather stripping sealing the door good?

That’s absolute normal and happens on every vehicle. That area is outside of the weather sealed interior when the door is closed. Go wash your truck or drive through a rain storm and you’ll find plenty of water there. It will also fill up with dust and grime if you drive off-road or dirt roads.

one is fine if they accidentally plugged both then water can get trapped inside

Not unusual here in GA. The guys living in Arizona probably never see it.

I have to say that iMO that is not the inside of the truck.. if you washed your truck with pressure washer or opened door while raining you would get water in between the outside seal and inside seal..
