    Check Build Thread!!
It should be fine, just wire it up and hold it upside down and let some music play and you'll see.

hahahaha you'll hear the devil speak..

I'm guessing the "...." at the end of the sentences means that it is ok to install speakers upside down and i should be ashamed to even have posted a thread about it.

Thanks for answering my question without really answering it.

Speaker orientation doesnt really matter too much, as long as they are mounted facing level, or up. If they are facing down.....well......then the music just falls out of them...

Yeah I know. No hard feelings. I knew it was dumb question and the answer was pretty much obvious, but just wanted someone to confirm that it was ok.

not a dumb question at all. Not as bad as the good ole "what is the largest tire I can fit stock" question.

No, no, no. The sound will play upside down. Not backwards.

Well, actually there is a possibility to install upside down if it is a coaxial. The tweeter on some is pointed in a certain direction and if you mount it down, it will play toward the carpet. I always make sure I buy speakers with rotating tweeters so that I can angle it up and toward my seat.

Definitely the best option for front speakers. Back speakers really have no need to be components.
