Is it possible 2nd gen owners will be just as annoying here as they are in the 3rd gen forum?

Me three. Have the second kid on the way and am debating between Taco and Tundra. My 08 Taco has been great. Had to replace the water pump and the temperature compass display had the overheating resistor bug but other than that it's been great. I replaced the CD player with a touch screen unit a few years ago. I'm leaning towords Tundra but the engine failures and hesitation but has me nervous. Good thing I don't have to do anything right now, the 08 taco runs like a champ.

If you think harsh ride, underpowered, uncomfortable and whatever else is what the majority want in a truck these days, you are mistaken.

If I do end up going with a 4 gen I will definitely post my thoughts. I unfortunately need a truck now due to my situation but I do have a company vehicle that can get me by to wait and see what the details are on this new generation. I wish Toyota would get more of the stuff out on it. Hoping we see more here in October.

State Fair of Texas starts Friday. Hopefully prices will be released by then. Pretty much guaranteed to have a big display.

Wow. That's insightful. Why aren't you daily driving a 1960 flatbed Chevy with a straight six and 3 on the tree then? Or maybe a 1965 Toyota stout with 85 horsepower? People want trucks to be more refined as time goes on, including you.

fingers crossed. I just like to know all the options, if everything comes out looking good I will be debating a pro, off road like I had, or the trail hunter. But really its just a daily driver in mountain area that I often drive and go to the beach. so I just like it to be well rounded.

Yeah. I had an 95 T100 before this.

I would be content without the added fluff.
