Here is the deal. I'm in Europe so probably 99.99% of you don't care :p . But I do so what can I lose by asking the question? I'm out of reach of EPA.:brianr:

The idea is to get rid of all components of the EVAP system (not requred in Europe) without throwing whole bunch of P04xx codes. If it is not possible would be possible to at least delete the charcoal canister and reconnect vacuum hoses in such way that ECM wouldn't notice?

Not really. You would be running in "open loop" The cat would have to go as well. Seems like a lot of work, when the original system is pretty decent.

I'm too, tired to think on it beyond that.

Man I'm jealous. You lived in Cali so you know how anal they were about SMOG this and CARB that. Can't add a turbo, can't add a supercharger (at least non TRD), can't do a non-emissions engine swap, can't do anything fun.

Yep. California have nice weather. Everything else sucks. If (or when) I come back I will go for sure to more user friendly state.:crapstorm:

I have nothing against catalytic converter and EGR circuit. They work to lower emission at the tailpipe. What's annoying is the EVAP system, that is fuel vapor re-circulation. Especially the charcoal canister taking valuable space under the hood :D. I wonder if there is a way to connect hoses going to charcoal canister in such way that ODBII would think everything is OK and will do all cycling and shit. In California it wouldn't pass the visual SMOG inspection, here nobody cares.

By the way, why it has to be me who cares about the fuel vapor, when I'm driving by any gas station I need to close my vents, as it stinks so much from fuel vapor.

You could move it any place you like as long as you keep it all hooked up

Which is really ironic considering all the dust up about US pulling out of the UN Paris Climate Agreement.
