IDK i would still stick with a regular home air compressor using the outlet in the back. Enough power you can run tools at home. Fits in the bed pretty easy.

Is there enough wattage to run a 110v compressor? I would think there is enough amp draw to overcome any available power. Hope I don't sound like too much of an idiot:notsure:

That's what I thought. I think it would be useful for charging phones or laptops, maybe running a tunebox or something. I don't think it would run hi draw items like circular saws or sawzalls and that kind of thing. I think it's meant more as a convenience item than an all day construction thing.

As far as compressors go, maybe one of those camp style deals just for inflating rafts and mattresses or such.

if you want to do anything substantial, you have to go aftermarket. for anything more than charging my cell or laptop, i use a cobra inverter. 5000 watts. more than enough to do just abotu anything. it'll play a full sized stereo, charge a drill battery, power a flood lamp, and operate a corded impact wrench simulteniously.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I thought about OBA but after talking with a few guys about how slow they are filling up tires I'm going with C02 and not a powertank I picked up a used C02 tank from a buddy of mine and getting reg from 75 bucks into it. Now I did get a great deal on the tank but you can pick up used one for about 50 or 60 bucks.
