I just finished installing 6112s in the front of my 2016 double cab sport trd 4x4. Put 5100s on the ass end as Bilstein told me the 5160s are having tons of leaking issues and said I’d be better served with 5100s.

I set the 6112s at notch 5 on the drivers side and notch 4 on the passenger side.

It now leans to the drivers side a lot. It looks like the back end is sagging on the drivers side.
Is this the infamous “Taco Lean” ? I thought the notch 5 on the drivers side would compensate enough?

Are you sure you didnt do 4 on drivers and 5 on passenger? Easy mistake so just asking. Taco lean is usually not that noticeable unless you really look hard or measure. :notsure: but once you see it you'll always notice it.

Not sure what to tell you there. Taco lean is mostly in the front. Any mods to the rear other than shocks?

Is there a cure to bring the ass end up on the drivers corner?

Better leafs. It's pretty universally agreed the OEM leafs are weak.

Have you driven it around yet to let the suspension settle in? Also have you put it on level ground and taken measurements at all 4 corners?

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
    So two thoughts.

The leafs will typically have a + or - on them if you changed the leafs or added an AAL. You might want to swap leafs. That's a lot of work.

The other thought is that changing your shock shouldn't have changed the lift. The springs handle lift and shocks handle the ride dampening.

What changes did you do to the rear leafs, or blocks, or AALs. That might help us narrow this down some.

From my aviation days, you have about 60 to 70 lbs at that corner with 1/2 tank pushing on soggy back
You should get measurements at 4 corners to see if there is a lean

I'm willing to bet the truck is a long bed?

Mine has always had some lean in the rear only. The gas tank is back there and the adjustment at the front has less of an effect back there simply due to the length of the chassis

Are the blocks tapered? If so is the taper towards the front on both?
