Wouldn't it take a lot making it road worthy? Missing air bag and bumper, for starters.

It has a clean title and I live by a junk yard so I don't think it would be to bad personally but just didn't know if the price was outrageous for this truck.... what It needs is a steering wheel bumper and grill

If that's all it needs, I would go for it. Those are relatively inexpensive, and from what I've read, the airbag is the hardest of those parts to replace. So you're saving a heap by getting that truck for $1500, and now you can get custom grill and bumper without having to take off the old one. Or OEM. Or fab your own. If you were going to modify anyway, you're saving yourself trouble.

Airbag can be purchased for about $500 on eBay. The bigger question is, why is the airbag missing? Did it deploy in a collision (which suggests more damage under the skin), or was it scavenged/stolen?

Idk I'm thinking it was deployed but sometimes airbags deploy easily havnt you seen that vine with the old lady hitting the car with her purse haha everything from what I can tell nothing is wrong mechanically just cosmetic issues

gauge on the floor for what? inside handle missing, need a new bezel, check for rust! most things are inexpensive but could be a money sink if you can find another working one for the price of fixing it up.

does it start and run? might as well try it to be sure.

^Interesting. You can actually see the airbag fabric poking out of the lower right corner:

yep nice catch, I would pass on that one since I have never seen a good one with anything showing like that.

here is a nice one for $85 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1997-1998-T...OEM-/271929171353?hash=item3f503ddd99&vxp=mtr

just scan whats on ebay to find the best deal or try salvage yards but I wouldn't pay over $125 for one, there are way to many out there selling for less then that
