Are you talking about cars now or still on trucks?

If you're talking about trucks. I would like to hear how I can make my truck sound good cuz mines a 4.

If you're talking about cars. Yes. I have seen 4 cyl and 6 cyl sound amazing and can be faster then v8(so long as v8 isn't FI). But that usually involves changing cams and tune obviously. Bmw Nissan Infiniti and Audi usually make their v6 sound good too.

If you are talking about the TRD exhaust from dealer DEFINITELY no.
Total rip off and not worth it at all. Better off going with an aftermarket if anything.

My 3.5 v6 in my 14 accord coupe sounds fantastic! Wish this sounded as good.

I will say Infiniti G37 and FX sound the best for a V6, had both and I do miss that sound and I never was a v6 person. I was hoping that Taco would make a small v8 some day, but in todays world V6 is the new V8. That jag and Nissan vid attached on here sound like shit. I was not impressed at all, the Nissan was a track car and the jag sounded like it had cutouts. But agree spend your money elsewhere.

Then why'd you have to compare them to the Toyota 3.5 then?

Only engine that sounds good loud to me is a V8. Dont waste your money on some fart can muffler. Take that money and invest it...in 20 years you will be glad you did.

My buddies 6 cyl. F-150 sounds really badass like a v8. But it's custom and I have no idea what it is.

Brapppppppp!!! Pop, pop, pop, poop, poop, poop, poop!!! Save your money son. May as well spend that money on a spacer lift. You have a beautiful truck, just as it sits right now. Be glad it's yours and enjoy every mile you drive it. Sometimes, we just don't know how fortunate we are. I know I don't.

Why doesn't someone design an APP that will bust out whatever sound you think sounds cool through the radio, you could select or even "tune" your own sound. I think I remember reading somewhere that a car manufacturer actually did this, can't recall which one though. I'd set mine to sound like a Harley. :headbang:

There actually is an app like that. It is called XLR8 - a friend of mine helped to develop it. It's kind of amusing for a little while, but I got tired of it pretty quickly. It is available for Apple and Android

Thanks John, yes I'm sure you would get tired of it, like after installing a loud pipe on a bike, that get's old real fast, especially with the neighbors:annoyed:

Bah my neighbours bikes make more noise then my bike does, and trust me that's hard to top.
