Same as any other car. Hook up the cables or jump box and push the start button. Or if you're asking if the key fob is dead you just hold it right by the button and push it.

    this and that...
basically that. push button start wouldnt work with clutch start cancel, just like how it wouldnt work if you try to kick start it. i had this precarious setup in my 2018 corolla se prem. it had push button AND 6spd trans. shit was a nightmare to fool around with. i had toyotas push button start in a couple different cars, but they were autos, and worked flawless if im being honest right now. this manual though, finicky as hell when it came to starting up the car. and if you wanted to kick start for whatever reason, forget about it. it would sound like it was gonna turn over then you would just stop in the middle of your tracks with a charging error/ engine malfunction engine prompt on the hud. i loved the car, but THAT was pretty dumb.

What i meant was, actually push start the car. Like physically push it. Turn key to ignition on, select 1st or 2nd gear and push the truck.

Saved me couple times on my previous MT vehicles.

I was in the middle of nowhere KY on a Sunday night and the starter failed, thank goodness I was able to shove it and dump the clutch and was thankfully on my way again

My starter failed too on the ranger on sunday night a while ago. Thankfully i could start it and drive it home. Funny thing is, this happened after i cleaned my engine.

When i was in high school, i had 87 camaro. Biggest POS lemon i ever had. My starter failed and of course i had no money to replace it, so i drove around like that for about a month haha. I replaced pretty much everything in that car and it still siezed up on me going up the bridge, fun times.

Another fun story. I had 90 civic Si, amazing vehicle. My reverse gear failed, so of course i had no money for a used tranny, so i drove like that for couple months. Was fun looking for appropriate parking spots. That civic though, was indestructable and i was very rough on it. Thats when i really realized how good japanese makes are.

Not many people buy the manual to begin with so it's probably not worth it for them to offer it. But that being said, that was one of the reasons I started looking away from the MT. It didn't matter though because I got a double cab short bed anyway.

Yeah, MT was never a North American thing. Completely opposite in europe. I was shocked when i saw AT for the first time, it was i believe 1988 audi 100. I was maybe 9-10 years old. Even all the public buses were manual, the shifter was like 4 feet long ha.

    These bad boys were MTs.

Toyota doesn’t want to make too many different combos of MT. They just make what they think will sell the most basically.

Unfortunately that seems to be the way it is. They are a business that want to make a profit afterall.

Too many people want convenience. Still quite a few things that are manual, but it's an enthusiast thing here, mostly. Less than 5% of sales are for the manual option, and I believe that's the same for Jeep.

    Agree.

Im very surprised Bronco will have the 7spd, really cool that Ford is doing that. Curious to see how many will be on the road. I barely see rangers around here, what a fail.

But only with the 2.3l. The upper level options require the V6 / AT.

Of course, a lot can and will change there.

Oh really? That sucks then. I think the 2.3 ecoboost is garbage, longevity wise.

I have heard stuff about the EB motors, but no idea which ones. The only thing that I know for sure is that enjoy hearing the TT F-150s spool up.

I was pretty frothy about the Bronco (still am for the most part), but that and a couple other small things tempered it for me.

I will enjoy seeing them rolling around. Unlike the Ranger, I expect to see them all over the place. The big question is how many are they gonna produce and how much market share will they take from the Wrangler.

Those turbos sound great, no doubt about it. The aftermarket exhausts on those 3.5s, imo not so much... I heard quite a few around here and they all sound really loud and ricey.

Yeah wil be cool to see Broncos on the road, i think they look good.

My ex had 2016 i believe escape with the 1.6 ecoboost. The coolant got into the engine at only 24k km. They had to replace the engine. Then maybe a month after the engine was replaced, something happened with the turbo. Left a really bad taste in my mouth, the small displacement eco boost and the ex haha.

Most definitely. Folks should just leave the EB V6 exhausts alone. I've heard too many bad sounding Raptors.

Interesting and not good in the least.

I see a few Rangers, but to be fair they have only been around a year and a half. But that being said, I refused to consider it since Ford seemed to half ass it. They took the international version, put a new motor in, changed the bumper and a couple of other minor things and called it "all new." At least they took their time with the Bronco.
