    Well the mustang board im on sucks...


    Ok dose anybody know how to tell if my fan clutch is toast? I really can't hear it due to my exhaust. My temp is a lil bit higher than normal. So is their a quick test on to see if my Fan clutch is done?

    What kind of setup do you have? Belt driven like our trucks I'm guessing? Or electric?

    If your fan spins super easy just by actuating it with your hand, usually you have a bad clutch fan. It should have a little resistance.

    Let the car idle for a while with the hood open and watch for the fan to come on. Keep an eye on the temp gauge to make sure it doesnt get to hot. As long as it is warm out the fan should come on.

    If the fan clutch is shot replace it with an electric fan to free up a little power.

    Ohhh ya, I got Electric fan and waterpump for my current block im building. This will do just for now. I should have my nasty 5.0 built in about 2Mo.
