I know in CCC, insurance side of DRPs can set a cap in your profile.

    P
Pages are not state specific it’s a time study done by mitchels or ccc pathways on the paint operations and time / materials needed.

Trained and certified doesn't mean shit in my book, I've worked with way too many people who don't care about going above and beyond the expectations of others simply for their own gratification.

That is exactly why I do every single thing to my truck, nobody will treat it better than I will.

You field adjusters sure are making me nostalgic. I remember when I used to be one, and thought I knew everything too.

P.S. CCC doesn’t do time studies. They buy their information from motors
Who also does not do time studies.
And labor times have noting to do with materials...which is also in the p-pages :D

In other words you’re saying someone pulled those numbers out of their ass ? Or that only the shop knows what they must get paid ? It is generally agreed that the software tools are universal and agreed-upon by both industries shop and insurance otherwise it would be a chaos. Trouble is shop doesn’t always agree with p pages or care to even read footnote and see what’s included etc. and don’t even get me started on mechanical rate and operations lol. Besides if you’ve been in the industry you would admit that more that often insurance overpays for labor and materials anyway so don’t start giving me that crap. I’ve been on both sides of the fence and can tell you that 7 hr dents is more like 2 hr dent 99% of the time if you know what you’re doing. Rest of the 5 hrs at $60/hr is $$$ in one’s pockets and than we wonder why premeums keep going up. Paint application time is labor time and materials combined paid at labor time plus materials. looks like you need a refresher man. We’re hiring!

I’m not following you here bud, what is it you’re talking about now?
Time studies, paint materials, labor times, p-pages, footnnotes, judgement times, technician efficiency, labor rates?
Nothing you have said has been credible, but I’m still happy to engage, but stop bouncing all over the place.

Have a nice evening dude. If you’re not in the undustry than nothing you’ve said is credible at all.
I’m gonna bounce since yo seem to be on the right track with your credible knowledge and expertise I got enough shops to argue over this shit don’t need to be doing it here as well, at least the other one pays my bills.

    “Tech efficiency”

Lol. Cracks me up when chair and desk people pretend to have an opinion on how long it should have taken me to diagnose and repair a hydraulic valve manifold. I can’t imagine how body people deal with this nonsense. I just wanna put that little whimsical opinion in a jewelry box, wrap it, put a bow on it and send it right back.

Typically collision techs beat the times hands down, weather it’s the book time or a judgement time...that’s what he was complaining about with the 7hr dent in 2hr comment. He thinks because a body man is good at his job, his insurance company is being stolen from.

Not totally crazy as an electrician most trade industries charge by the actual hour (maybe 1-2 minimum to call out) unless it’s an after hour service call with a minimum hour charge (4 hours where I’m at now)

I do understand how body and repair shops charge their time but most people probably don’t.
