    It was officially condemned. She's got some nice sparkly fluid and enough codes to light up a Christmas tree. Thankfully a local salvage yard had a replacement, and boy did I luck out 17k on it

    A fix for under $1000 I'm not complaining. I was expecting a lot worse

    Ya. When they told me the mileage my jaw dropped a bit. And that's kilometers not miles. Barely even broken in

    This thread exemplifies why I spend so much time on TW. OP it sounds like you made it out OK considering the predicament and folks like @gearcruncher and @mynameistory and many others are always willing and available to chime in and help. I’ve been wheeling more and more and just this past Sunday we were chatting about when to use 4lo. I keep it in LO and my auto in 1st or 2nd simply because I thought it felt better and was easier on the trans and brakes but really didn’t know if that was right or wrong. Thanks all ... now on to go find a scan gauge lol ...
