    It may be the angle, but it appears that the bed does not line up with the cab... The frame may be extremely bent.

    I don't think it is. The truck's value is still too high with respect to the damages. I'd guess that the repair bill would be about 11-12k. That truck's value is in the low to mid 20's. In order for it to be a write off, the damage would have to be 70-80% of the trucks value (depending on state), or significant frame damage. It could be if they find more damage after pulling things apart.
