I had a 2002 Camry pull out in front of me yesterday and I was doing about 45 mph. Slammed on the brakes but still socked him pretty hard. I bought this truck brand new in 2015 and it was perfect condition with only 45k miles on it. It was previously a single-owner, accident free vehicle. (2015 Double Cab 4x4 TRD w/ tow package) I really don't want to drive it repaired. Do you think it is totaled? Insurance company is State Farm, I was at no fault in the accident.

    Airbag deployment?

Will likely depend on frame status on tear-down. Hard to say now.

Pursue for diminished value, etc, and trade it in once it's repaired.

The trucks definitely hurt. No way to tell from the pics if the repair cost is more than 70% of the trucks value. Look at the gap between the cab and the bed. If it's closer on 1 side than the other or if the cab contacted the bed, that's pretty serious.

If it's possibly totaled out, I would buy it back from the insurance co cheap, fix it, and pocket the rest $$. The main issue would be frame damage.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
It does not look totalled. The front end damage is nothing, it all depends on the frame, air bags, engine block, etc. Bent fenders won't total it alone, not that new anyway.

Saw an 09 FJ similar damage(mother in law)
Wasnt totaled.it had 80k on it...was in great shape prior.
After market parts bumper and grill...winch...lights.
Your gonna luv it when its done.

The FJ was just restored to stock......it could've been way cooler for less.

No air bag deployment is good.

This would be the best option if it was in good working order before the accident. Choose a reputable body shop and you won't know the difference.

state farm? absolutely not totaled. Got in a collision in my BMW X5 a few months ago, and Metlife (at fault party) said the damage was north of $31,000. State farm (my GFs insurance, had to use them due to metlife pushing it to not be all their fault) tried to not total it, saying the damage was only 18k and utilizing all used parts. I pushed to have it totaled and they did.

Is it just me or does the alignment look messed up (left wheel turned quite a bit more).

Why do you not want to drive it after repair?

    I don’t get that.

    It unlikely its totalled.
