The truck was not marketed or sold as a Pro by the Toyota dealership I got it from.. Just made me start wondering a bit when the VIN was ran by my insurance and carfax and both listed it as a "TRD PRO"
However, this forum quickly answered my questions and confirmed it was a sport.
I do not do any offroading and paid $23k for a very very clean 2015 TRD Sport with 55k miles. I am very happy with the truck and my plan is to put the bedside "TRD Sport" stickers back on the truck. I love the added Pro grill and rims but never have been into cloned vehicles or pretending to have something I didn't...

I also have called my insurance and am waiting to hear back from them about the mix up on listing the truck as a Pro.

Yeah, I was thinking of the TRD Sport. But I still did not know that the Pro's had a locker.

Insurance price is HIGH! I pay less than a third of that for full coverage and I don't even have the bare minimum required by law. I know there are a lot of factor that go into your rate, such as age and driving record, but Ouch! Is that the norm in CA?

OP, you got a great truck at a good price. Enjoy:thumbsup:

That doesn't include what I pay for full coverage on my s2000 either :frusty:. It really comes down to the state being full of cars, and the liability being high for the insurance to have to pay one day.

2nd gen Pros actually had Bilsteins instead of foxes but I agree as I’ve had the blue and yellow
