Is 'no loaner cars' (for same-day recall service) a Toyota policy?

Yeah, I've heard there's some new product that's allegedly very effective. I'll find out in another month or so. I told them I wanted to wait until spring to get it done.

I work at Ford, each recall specifies if Ford will pay for a rental vehicle or not and for how long they will pay for. Usually the recall has to take over 5 hours to qualify for a rental.
Though rentals are easier since if the vehicle is damaged by the customer driving it the dealer doesnt have to deal with it, however should they want to dealers can give out loanders and charge Ford for said loaner vehicle as a rental if the recall covers a rental.

Generally seems loaners are given out at dealer discretion as a way to appease customers, another reason the dealer labor rates are so high.

Everyone thinks they deserve a loaner cause the luxury car dealers give out loaners so much, we've had people ask for a loaner when they are getting oil changed and tires rotated.
