In typical 3rd genner fashion... lol

    No personal accountability? No problem...

Just blame it on the truck!

You don’t have to comment on threads you disagree with. I asked a question and am receiving input that I value.

Your comment only serves to turn this thread into yet another pissing contest. We’ve had plenty of those on this subject already. Move along people

I didn’t have to comment, I wanted to. That is the beauty of open forum.

    This input, you should value:

Instead of blaming the truck, try learning how to drive it properly. Not all the manual vehicles are gonna drive the same. It takes time and patience to be butter smooth.

    Carry on.

I think I’m going to go for it. I don’t want to sell the truck. I think I’d regret it because every time I walk up on it I think, damn that looks good.

I drive it everyday. So if it truly is all that it’s hyped up to be, I should reap the benefits.

But to be honest, the thought in the back of my head always is what if I’m rear ended at a red light and my truck is totaled. Then it’s all wasted and I feel stupid for ever buying an expensive vehicle. But I suppose that’s what insurance is for.

I love how you have to announce his temp ban. Why can't mods just ban without a post stating their authority? Also how did the OP's name slip by you? @jewboi ? Seriously how isn't that against the account name policy.

my username is something my friends have jokingly referred to me as for years. Used to be my Xbox live gamer tag. Never got banned for it.

I would appreciate if people would stop hijacking my post to make a point.

Most of the time we do. You just never hear about those because, and this may come as a shock to you, we don't always post about it.

true. if you can't make the OV Tune work for you then it's because you shouldn't be driving a MT truck in the first place. my truck is setup to drive like a demon, it's fun like crazy but definitely requires a commitment to skill and engagement to drive. the more i involve myself the better the drive. fully involving and that's how i like it. OV is an indispensable part. this truck with all it's quirks is a very rewarding drive for the engaged driver. for folks who just want the MT for the gearing or whatever will probably not be totally happy with it. just read in the OV threads and you'll see the excited and happy ones are the ones who keep talking about the driving part and never seem to get enough.

Do you run 87 or 91? And what exactly do you mean by setup to run like a demon?

    91 only.

my setup is another topic entirely as I've setup my truck for throttle steering, so there's that. it's a lot of discussion but let's just say you cannot effectively throttle steer with the factory tune. unless you want to drive into a wall, that is.

For the record, if/when I get banned, I would prefer an extensive announcement. I find them proper and entertaining.

Hey @jewboi , come on over to the OVtune M/T thread and pull up a chair. Also, the review thread (stickied) if you like.
